Bonnar Timber Excavation Ltd. had the opportunity to collaborate with Wesbild to complete an outdoor classroom for Cabe Secondary School. Bonnar Timber’s assistance was requested by Wesbild to create an outdoor classroom. By working together they were able to exceed the needs of the school.

Building a total of 6 benches to complete the seating portion of the classroom, these benches were created from an at-risk tree on Burke Mountain. It is not always about the space that the falling a tree creates, but rather the tree itself.

Bonnar Timber produced more than just a product, but an experience to show those that go through the school the purpose that one tree has. Because it is more than just a job to us.

  1. We purchased a 10 acre property which was in desperate need of selective clearing to make more useable. Only about 3 acres was cleared and usable. The previous owners highly recommended we reach out to Steve for his skill and experience in land clearing. Must have been at least 50 years of rotten birch, dead fall and dense brush in the forest areas. Steve helped us make a plan and over a 3 week time span they selectively cleared about another 3 acres. Steve and crew were safe and always on time and they worked fast! The only time they stopped working was when we had some heavy snow & cold days that made our driveway Icey and unusable. I believe around 9 logging trucks of wood was hauled out. They leveled out a section for my new tractor shed. Were careful not to damage my well or feeder lines to the house. Also coordinated a large wood shredder for the day to dispose of multiple large piles of stumps and debris. Throughout the project Steve kept me regularly informed on their progress and provided options when needed. We are very happy with the result and the value this has added to our property. Plus the project cost came in where I expected. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Steve and the Bonnar crew for any land clearing, falling or excavation work you may have!
